To share my enthusiasm for language and communication, including journalism, literature and the art of writing. “Writing is both mask and unveiling.” E.B. White

M.F.A. Creative Writing. Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA

B.S. Journalism. University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL

Reporting strengths that are foundational to journalism and to writing in general. These include tenacity, productivity, ethics and enthusiasm as well as the ability to grasp new information, remember important  details, seek accuracy and establish rapport with sources.

Prose that other professionals have described as lyrical and dependable. From experience and trial, I have developed vocabulary and style sense, and I can write a laudable sentence, article or story. But can we agree there is still the challenge to do better? I am humbled by the quest for narrative voice, character development, rich dialogue and succinct, yet significant, description. I work for victory.
